Your used ski will be measured on the test bench just like every new ORIGINAL+ ski. Longitudinal flex, torsion, camber and sidecut will be measured. Our specialist staff will also carry out a visual inspection for optical criteria.
As part of the O+ factory warranty, we provide a guarantee for any faults or damage to the product. You can find all the details in our general terms and conditions.
Individual pieces and samples are usually models where new colors or designs have been produced for viewing or testing.
The O+ ski factory is also the producer for other brands and labels, such as MILLER SKI (USA) or A+A SKI (NOR). These ski models are built with independent designs based on ORIGINAL+ basic models. Small quantities of overproduction or pre-series skis are sold here.
DOWN is a cult label in the freeride and freetouring sector that has existed since 2009. DOWN was taken over by O+ GMBH and is therefore a sister brand of ORIGINAL+.
Models marked "RENEW" have been given a new surface at the factory and the sidewalls have been re-milled. Together with the base and edge service, you will receive a ski that is de facto as good as new.
There is a large used ski market, for example on Willhaben, classified ads or various ski exchanges. In our experience, it is often difficult to determine how good the condition of the ski is. In particular, the expected lifespan cannot actually be estimated, as the remaining base and edge thickness cannot be determined with the naked eye. O+ RENEW models, on the other hand, have a known history and are reconditioned at the factory. We classify the skis according to their condition and list the special features in a comment. The biggest benefit and difference compared to buying privately is the security provided by the guarantee provided by O+.
Yes, you can find all the skis listed in the directory "in real life" in the O+ Factory Store in Salzburg Bergheim and can view them there during our opening hours or by making an appointment in advance.
Reservations are not possible due to the usually high demand. It is "first come - first served".
You can generally purchase the skis with or without bindings. If the skis are advertised "without bindings", we will be happy to advise you and can offer you a suitable TYROLIA safety binding.
